CUSTOMER SERVICE REP

General Purpose and Requirements

The customer service representative is responsible for providing a great customer service experience as our company’s first point of contact with new clients. The ideal candidate must be a self-starter, computer savvy, and dedicated to providing a great customer experience.

Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities
  • Attracts potential customers by answering product and service questions; suggesting information about other products and services to ensure a top-notch customer experience.
  • Quickly responds to customer leads generated from website, internet inquiries, telephone and in person.
  • Opens customer accounts by recording account information, entering order details.
  • Maintains customer records by updating account information.
  • Resolves product or service problems by clarifying the customer's complaint; determining the cause of the problem; selecting and explaining the best solution to solve the problem; expediting correction or adjustment; following up to ensure resolution.
  • Project management to include recording customer visits, selections to include materials from our outdoor material yard, job details, scheduling of template, fabrication and installation.
  • Recommends potential products or services to management by collecting customer information and analyzing customer needs.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Ability to work Saturdays and evenings

RECEPTIONIST

General Purpose and Requirements

Provide a world-class customer experience to our showroom clients. In this role you must love working with people and have a positive, outgoing personality. You should have the flexibility to work nearly every Saturday from 9-2 along with mid-day shifts throughout the week. The position has great promotion potential and is designed to allow you to grow into other roles in the organization. Great problem solvers and self-starters only.

Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities
  • answer telephone, screen and direct calls
  • take and relay messages
  • provide information to callers
  • greet persons entering organization
  • deal with queries from the public and customers
  • provide general administrative and clerical support
  • schedule showroom appointments
  • maintain appointment diary either manually or electronically
  • read, log and disperse web leads to Sales
  • control inventory relevant to reception area
  • tidy and maintain the reception area and showroom
  • prepare coffee for customers
  • Maintain showroom and sales workspace cleanliness
Education and Experience
  • high school diploma generally required
  • knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures
  • knowledge of computers and relevant software application
  • knowledge of customer service principles and practices
